Divine Mercy Home
 There are currently 40 men and women staying in the Divine Mercy Home. Some are bedridden and need total care. A physiotherapist spends time working with the residents daily to keep their stiff joints supple. Each day begins with the Holy Mass followed by regular sessions of intercessory prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Prayers and songs of praise can be heard throughout the day from the chapel. And the Word of God is shared. The residents spend time gardening, reading, watching television and caring for pets. Old friends and members of the residents' family who attend Divine retreats usually stop by to visit. In the twilight of their lives, they are treated with love. Give your help to the poor, and the Lord will give you his perfect blessing (Sir 7:37) |
